Mr. Wan was previously an Executive Director and a member of The Monetary Authority of Singapore (“MAS”) management team. He is also a Public Administration Award Holder (Singapore).
With his 32 years’ career with MAS, Mr. Wan is a veteran MAS supervisor with strong risk management and regulatory knowledge of the banking industry. Mr. Wan held various leadership roles during his tenure with MAS. He contributed to build up MAS’ supervisory capability, credibility and mentor generations of Financial Supervision Group supervisors till his retirement from MAS.
Mr. Wan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Australia.
