Mr. Chiang brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry across the Asia-Pacific region. As chairman and director of the Peirce Capital, he provides strategic guidance and governance oversight, drawing on his extensive leadership experience with international financial institutions to support stakeholder engagement and advise on Peirce Capital’s long-term strategic direction.
Mr. Chiang is a highly seasoned banker with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. During the last 10 years of his banking career, he held senior leadership roles as CEO and Country Head of banks in Singapore. He also held various senior positions with leading global and regional banks across Singapore, Hong Kong/Mainland China, Indonesia and India, including CTBC Bank, China CITIC Bank (International), Standard Chartered Bank, Credit Suisse First Boston, United Overseas Bank and Sumitomo Bank. His banking experience spans Corporate and Investment Banking, Private Banking, Treasury, Risk Management, Finance and Internal Audit.
Since 2015, Mr. Chiang has served as an Independent Board Director and Chairman of the Audit and Risk Management Committee of Tuas Power Group in Singapore, one of Singapore’s leading power generation companies and a key provider of energy solutions, multi-utilities and environmental services.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (Economics) from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Australia.
